Push poke smash repeat

Had another ultrasound -> biopsy -> mammogram this morning. Now there are three unique clips in there marking spots: one very bad, one harmless, and one tbd. Also gave them more blood because – breaking news! – I’m now having my port installed tomorrow. That is such a cyborg sentence.

Looked it up – apparently the right way to say it is port “placement.” Slightly less robotic.

A bunch of blood tests have already come back with normal/optimal results for blood/kidney/metabolic function. Just a couple more to come, plus an echocardiogram, and then I’ll officially be cleared to do the chemo + HER2 treatments for a whiiiiile. And then everything else.

In fun news – flew to the big island yesterday with Jenni and fam and a visiting Julie. We ate amazing burgers, went to a zoo where a monkey HATED Jenni for no discernible reason, explored some lava tubes, laughed super hard playing Scattergories (roop roop!), and looked at glowing (but not erupting) Kilauea at night. My parents are back on the island now, so my dad will be taking me to/from my procedure tomorrow (and hopefully buying me treats on the way home).

For now, I’m gonna ice this bewb and do a puzzle.
